Principles that should be visible in the contract

A compliant provider can tell you what data it collects, why, how long it is retained, and who can access it. Look for defined retention periods, role-based access, and a named data-protection contact. Transfers of personal data should rest on consent and contractual safeguards — not assumption.

Accountability cuts both ways

The same platform that proves an officer's presence also disciplines how that record is handled. Audit-ready reporting, controlled access, and documented retention are not bureaucratic overhead; they are what allow a regulated client — a bank, a government body, an institution — to trust a provider with its most sensitive sites.

Compliance, handled well, is not a constraint on a security operation. It is a feature of one worth hiring.
